FOR SALE

It is a dark day, but like everything else that is swell, when the swelling goes down, it is time to move on. So here we have it, my partner in crime: EDNA.

World Cup DH Mountain Bike. She is a beast, she has been by steed and riding buddy for the past 9 months, seen me down some of the gnarliest trails in the world. From Champery (Switzerland), to Fort William (World Championships), Dunkeld, Innerleithen (Scotland), the Lisbon Downtown and many more. Fionns bike was featured in a recent issue of MBUK, they have done a full lowdown, so go check it out if you can get a copy and do your homework!
The bike has been well serviced by our very own Griffiths Racing World Cup mechanic. The rear Rocco shock was serviced at the World Championships (September 2007) by Marzocci and the brakes by Hope Technology at the same event. The bike is in good running order and condition with a few scratches which are wear and tear.

For the past 3 weeks...I have mostly been doing LOTS!! It may seem from the lack of posts that I have been being lazy hermit, but that is so not true...Here is a brief breakdown.
I am one year older and wiser?! I have moved to a different country, I have taken up running (only for 6 months, trust me, I hate it!! I have a real goal, for a real purpose, watch this space, more will be revealed!!). I have mastered the art of whipping my clothes off in a lift, swapping them with friends clothes and going out in a hotch potch of outfits??. Corrinne International came to stay for a few days, we culture vultured it up in the city during the day and unleashed at night!! Fun times, fun times!! There is a whisper of a deal in the pipelines for next season(MTB). I am learning Spanish, and also to knit...note to friends and family, please refrain from getting your eggs fertilised, scrambled or poached will do fine for now...knitting 8 pairs of booties is going to take a LONG time and a LOT of patience!! I have been village visiting, Newcastle, Inverness, Manchester, Scotland, New York, London, Clappam (True Only Fools and Horses style!). I have developed a new addiction to FaceBook and also Weetbix Oatibix Porridge, Apple and raspberry!! I have being getting out and riding loads of XC mainly in the lakes, but also on the 7 Stanes trails! You can tell autumn is setting in, the temperature outside is dropping as fast as the leaves off the trees!! I love autumn, especially in the Lake District, it is beautiful! All the trails have been pretty dry and the leaves crispy, crunchy and fresh, it seems most of the rain fell in the summer...typical!!
The good news is I have been promoted from T girl at work! Yea! I get to move onto the cake making machine!! I'm also planning a trip to the US of A to see Buhly, Tara and the Colorado Massif! I should be heading out in the next 6 weeks...I am watching flights like a hawk and will swoop on in when the price is right!! I miss everyone SO much already!!
Increase the peace!! I'll leave this one with ya. Jim. X
